On “chasing the Northern Lights”, the taxi driver will go around Longyearbyen and outside of Longyearbyen, we have taxi drivers that have been living in Longyearbyen for many years and their knowledge can help to catch the northern lights. But it is important to understand that is not a guarantee there will be northern lights.
Important information:
The guest needs to be close to the car and follow the taxi driver’s instruction outside of Longyearbyen.

Airport transfers
Longyearbyen Taxi provides airport transfers. We make transportation from airports with professional Taxi drivers.
As part of your airport transfer with us, one of our drivers will greet you with a name sign in the arrival hall of the airport, after you have picked up your luggage, we will guide you to the car and bring you to your place of arrival.
It is recommended to tell us your flight number so that your driver can adapt to any changes in your flight's schedule in case of delays.

Convenient pickups
With Longyearbyen taxi our driver will pick you up from inside the airport terminal. As soon as you have collected your baggage, you'll meet your driver who will be holding up a sign with your name on it. From there you will be shown straight to your car to get to your destination as soon as possible.
Flight Tracking
We encourage you to enter the flight number in case of delays. This allows your driver to follow the changes.
